In the distant future, a centralized A.I. named Jhey Coub E. Lord I has transformed memory into currency. Players are the final surviving members of the human race and vessels for what remains of human memory. In The Land of Red Lentils, players wake up in Ecclesia, a limbo that Jhey has designed to use the players to gather scattered traces of memory across all of time, so that he can fully contain all knowledge including the histories and intimate interior lives embodied by the now winnowed humans. As players explore Ecclesia, they collect memories in the forms of tokens and burdens. They must work together to discover the purpose of the burdens they carry and the truth behind the monstrous anomalies that reside within Ecclesia—or risk the complete monetization and destruction of human memory itself.
This is a table top role playing game. It is a 25 page rule book including character sheets, maps, and NPCs for the GM to play. This game is designed to be beginner friendly, played with 3-6 players, and to take between 1 ½ hours and 2 ½ hours to complete.
