“I was once nothing, and nothing I shall be again.

I felt strange as my face filled with heat

It was kind, I knew that, but it made me squirm

Am I lovable, am I worthy, or was it spewing deceit?

For the time being, I walked slow to reaffirm

That Toucan would leave me behind

But every time I slowed, it waited ahead firm.

Therefore, I resigned myself to trust it blind

I fear the coming though may be ill-advised

No way but forward, nothing left behind

‘Ahead of us are toils that will leave you scuffed

You have me, and your friends who you’ll meet

You must remember that you are enough.’”
